Elections in the United States today can often be frustrating and confusing, sometimes causing serious voter disenfranchisement amongst those who are not aligned with one of the two major political parties that control the process.

When the major political candidates from mainstream parties go head to head in local, state and national elections, it seems to more and more frequently degrade into a mud-slinging contest. And even when Democrats and Republicans do talk about the issues, it seems at best to be party rhetoric or at worst flat out lies.

When asked which candidate they will vote for, many undecided voters respond with answers like “I don’t know. I don’t like either candidate. Both parties are the same. The lesser of two evils…” and the worst answer of all: “I might not vote.”

We’re here to say DON’T NOT VOTE!

Here at dontnotvote.org, we want to inform voters and help give them a choice. If enough people rally around a cause or a candidate, it can effect change. There is no such thing as a wasted vote. The only waste is in not voting at all.
