2016 is a Presidential election year, and the general election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2016. There are plenty of opportunities to vote your voice! Here are the elections taking place this November:
- President and Vice President of the United States.
- All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives
- 34 of the 100 United States Senate seats
- 14 state and territorial governorships
- Many other state and territorial legislatures
- Numerous state and local races
Whatever state you live in, there is a Congressional race going on, and possibly a Senate race. In addition, nearly 30% of you will be voting on state Governors. There are most likely local races for your county, city, school district etc. And if you’re in Baltimore, Honolulu, Milwaukee or one of a handful of other major US cities, you’ll be voting for your mayor.
With all these elections going on, there are plenty of Republicans, Democrats, Third-Party and Independent Candidates to vote for, and we encourage you to follow the links, do your research and vote your conscience. Whatever you do, DON’T NOT VOTE!
