Your 2020 Options

2020 may be one of the most important elections of our time. Some say democracy itself is on the ballot. With strong opinions on both sides, and a flurry of election related information and misinformation circulating the internet, it is more important than ever that Americans do their research and get out in large numbers to vote.

While COVID-19 has complicated this election, most states have some combination of early voting, mail-in voting, drop boxes and in person voting on election day. Check the options in your state and make a voting plan that insures your vote will be counted.

Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. There are plenty of opportunities to vote your voice! Here are some of the important elections taking place this November:

  • President of the United States
  • All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives
  • 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate
  • 13 State and Territorial Gubernatorial elections
  • 86 regularly scheduled Legislative Chamber elections
  • 82 State Supreme court seats
  • Four special elections for a House seats California, Maryland, New York and Wisconsin
  • Various referendums, initiatives, ballot measures and state constitutional amendments covering everything from Medicaid expansion to marijuana legalization
  • Mayoral elections in many cities including Baltimore, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego and many more

Whatever state you live in, there is most likely some local race going on, and possibly a Mayoral race in your city or a state Governor race. With all these elections going on, there are plenty of Republicans, Democrats, Third-Party and Independent Candidates to vote for, and we encourage you to follow the links, do your research and vote your conscience.
